CAMBRIDGE -- Most dogs are easy to love. Many are good around kids. Some are smart. And all, at one time or another, stink. At LaundroMutt, a self-service dog wash, Linda St. Onge cq was the picture of multi-tasking with her 13-month-old daughter, Summer, on her back as she bathed her 4-year-old Basset Hound, Jake. She gives him a self-service bath around once a month because, she says, 'he smells.' LaundroMutt was opened up on Concord Ave about two years ago by husband and wife team, Evan and Elizabeth Olson cq. Says Elizabeth, 'Bathing your own dog is a bonding experience. You learn a lot about your dog, and you can monitor health issues.' Also, they smell better afterwards. (Globe Staff Photo / Suzanne Kreiter)
